LAGOA RODRIGO DE FREITAS

Embora tributária das águas de diversos rios que descem das encostas circundantes, entre os quais se destaca o rio dos macacos (hoje canalizado), apresenta águas salgadas. Acredita-se que esta ampla massa aquática teve a sua origem a partir de um braço de mar que, em função das correntes marítimas e dos ventos no litoral, teve o seu contato com o oceano Atlântico interrompido. Atualmente a ligação entre a Lagoa e o mar é mantida artificialmente, pelo canal do Jardim de Alah, por onde as águas do sistema lagunar se renovam. O parque da catacumba possui hoje o prq. da terceira idade e também atividades de: arborismo, tirolesa, rapel e escaladas. O Parque dos patins seria onde encontramos restaurantes com culinátia tipo: Sushibar, comida Brasileira, Arab, Italiana, Japonesa, Mediterrânea, entre outras, todos com música ao vivo dos mais diversos segmentos como Jazz, MPB, Rock, Piano e Instrumental, Samba e roda de Chorinho.


Although tributary waters of several rivers that descend from the surrounding slopes, among which stands out of the river monkeys (now channeled), has salt water. It is believed that this large water mass had its origin from an arm of the sea that, because of ocean currents and winds on the coast, had its contact with the Atlantic Ocean interrupted. Currently the link between the lagoon and the sea is maintained artificially, through the channel of the Garden of Allah, where the waters of the lagoon system is renewed. The park now has the catacomb ofRCP. seniors and also activities: tree climbing, zip line, rappelling and rock climbing. The Skate Park would be where we find restaurants with culinátia type:Sushibar, Brazilian food, Arab, Italian, Japanese, Mediterranean, among others,all with live music from various segments such as Jazz, MPB, Rock, Piano,Instrumental, and Samba Chorinho wheel.
