Só o carioca tem o privilégio de voltar do trabalho pela orla da praia, com o sol morrendo atrás do Morro Dois Irmãos, para nascer depois, ainda mais bonito, no Arpoador. E quando chega o fim de semana pode escolher entre 83 km de praias e centenas de cachoeiras para passear e se refrescar. Ou caminhar na Lagoa, saltar de asa-delta, velejar, escalar uma montanha. ARCOS DA LAPA

Conhecido como berço da boemia carioca, também por ter a mais diversificada galera que a frequenta. A Lapa é famosa por sua arquitetura e seus bares e restaurantes. Conhecido como Arcos da Lapa, construídos para funcionarem como aqueduto nos tempos do Brasil Colonial e que agora servem como via para os bondinhos que sobem o morro de Santa Teresa. São 42 arcos em 270 metros de extensão que ligam Santa Teresa ao morro Santo Antônio cosntruído em 1723.
